The Perfect Pair.

When worlds collide and celebrities interact, we throw a party. It’s that simple. When Ina Garten posts a “Happy Birthday” instagram message for Taylor Swift, a celebration is born.

The premise is simple, the parties are not.
Find a musician and food personality with a connection (some more tenuous than others). Build a full menu with recipes from the cook’s repertoire, and a playlist with the artist’s tunes.

Some parties include over-the-top themed presentations and some include more gin drinks than we can handle.

Eats & Beats is co-hosted with friend of Entertaining Ourselves, Betsy Hildreth. We may celebrate celebs, but she’s the real MVP.

PAST PARTIES

Party People Don’t Gatekeep.

Ina Garten
+ Taylor Swift

Classic recipes meet killer pop soundtrack. We sample the duo’s greatest quarantine hits (cosmo from Ina, Folklore from Taylor) and do themed presentations while noshing on whipped feta crostini.

Martha Stewart
+ Snoop Dogg

Time to light up. The creme brulee, that is.
Martha & Snoop’s unlikely friendship is a delight and inspiration, and dinner in their honor is full of hits.

Samin Nosrat
+ Hrishikesh Hirway

Quarantine couldn’t stop this party!
Our dinner party spinoff of covid-era podcast Home Cooking, from Samin Nosrat and Hrishikesh Hirway.
We want to be friends with them irl, but a themed dinner will have to do.

Stanley Tucci
+ Harry Styles

The table? Dressed to the nines.
The drinks? Strong as hell.
The vibes? Immaculate.

Sit down, start the playlist, and enjoy the menu.

Your enthusiasm is welcome at these dinner parties. Being a fan is fun, from food personalities to pop musicians.

Get inspo for your own unhinged dinner parties. We’ll never tell you not to hand draw place cards or steam those cloth napkins.
